This personal combination steamer is lightweight and economical, yet it's loaded with professional features. It easily converts from a facial-aromatherapy steamer to a hair-conditioning steamer by replacing the facial arm with the hair steaming hood, or vice versa. No tools are required and attachments are removable for storage. Two operating modes; steam only and steam plus ozone. A full 400-watts of heating power produce superb steam vapor, and an internal ultraviolet bulb produces a disinfectant light that kills most micro-organisms; the UV rays (commonly referred to as "ozone") sterilize the steam as it passes through the unit. The integrated water inlet with fold-up cap make this steamer easy to refill without drips or splashes, and without needing to remove the 12-ounce capacity, shatterproof acrylic reservoir (may be removed for cleaning if needed). Best results are achieved with distilled or high-purity water. The facial steamer arm includes an aromatherapy function; it houses a small chamber in which material scented with aromatics or essential extracts can be placed to infuse with the steam for an incredible aromatic experience. The hair bonnet is generously sized (12-1/2" diameter by 6-1/2" deep) and features an adjustable vent to allow precise control over the steam level. A rolled lip at the lower edge of the hood collects condensate to prevent dripping. Compact design allows this unit to be used almost anywhere; measures 20" deep, 13" wide, 20" tall with the hair hood installed, and 14" deep, 7" wide, 13" tall in the facial configuration. As with any steamer, always use caution and take preventative measures to avoid tipping and/or contact with any heated liquid or parts.
